The Wakefield District School Health Survey 2024 was carried out with Year 5, Year 7, Year 9 and Year 12 pupils who attend schools across Wakefield District. 6,600 pupils and students across 67 different schools and colleges took part in the survey, which ran from January to May 2024.
The Wakefield Council Public Health service have used a school health survey every two years since 2009 as a way of collecting robust information about young people’s health, wellbeing and lifestyles.
The results of the 2024 survey are available in the reports shown below. This list will be added to as additional products are developed. Participating schools also receive their own report. Local commissioners can request bespoke analysis from the Public Health Intelligence Team.
